we're heading into memorial day weekend, so i'm looking forward to three days off... and chris is looking at a weekend of indefinite duration! his last day of work is tomorrow. he accelerated his departure date for a number of reasons, so he's cleaned out his desk, said his goodbyes, and is now my full-time employee! (just kidding, but i am giving him a serious to-do list to fill his newfound free time.) i know he will miss his great coworkers at ACS.
this weekend we are hoping to do more cleaning out. we've discovered the power of giving stuff away for free. we've done it both via new technology (craigslist) and the old-fashioned way (putting it out on the lawn on a nice day), and both methods have succeeded in getting crap out of our house without putting it in a landfill. sweet.
